PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE
Welcome to the University Women of Flagler Website!
Take a look around the Website and see who we are. There are two things we especially want you to know.
1. We believe in equity for girls and women and work hard to raise funds to support education for women of all ages, including:
- supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
- helping middle school students through support of the Florida Take Stock in Children program
- providing scholarships to high school graduates in support of their post-secondary education
- supporting women who are changing careers or returning to work later in life.
2. We are a vibrant group of women who come together to support education, to strengthen our community, to grow as individuals, and to meet new people and develop friendships. Many of our members are new residents of Florida and also retired snowbirds. UWF is a great way to meet people, to use your skills to provide important service in educating women and to build community and a better world.
Join us and help make a difference in Flagler County. UWF will give you opportunities to flourish, share your talents, and develop new friendships.
