Scholarship Recipients Each year at our May luncheon, the UWF scholarship recipients are announced by the UWF Scholarship Committee. The number of scholarships that are awarded varies each year. As of May 2024, UWF has awarded over 116 scholarships to high school graduates totaling more than $182,250.
The scholarship recipients in May 2024 were:

Sabrina Dasilva-Carvalheira of Flagler Palm Coast High School
Leila Jackson of Flagler Palm Coast High School
Abigail Taylor of Flagler Palm Coast High School
Ciara Smith of Matanzas High School and
Alena Nieves of Flagler Palm Coast High School
Each student received a scholarship of $3000 for the 2024-25 school year.
In addition, in 2023, we endowed a scholarship at Daytona State College, which provides a mature student (22 years of age or older) with a scholarship each year in perpetuity. Non-Traditional Student Grants of between $500 and $1000 are granted to local colleges and programs to provide help for adults returning to the workforce.
