Who can join? UWF membership is open to anyone holding an associate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
How much are dues? Membership dues are $50 per year.
Where do the dues go? UWF is a self-governing volunteer organization. Our membership dues and the monies we earn in fundraising projects support the basic administrative costs, local causes which include scholarships for women and girls pursuing a baccalaureate degree, support for women’s opportunities in education, and other varied community-based projects. There are no paid administrative staff. Basic administrative costs include accounting (banking fees), basic state and federal filings, meeting costs, monthly newsletter and website hosting.
Benefits of Membership: Perhaps the greatest benefit is the opportunity to get involved with a diverse, vibrant community of women who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for women in Flagler County. Members receive a monthly newsletter from September through May by email or can view it on the UWF website, listing the current events and meeting information. Archived newsletters can be viewed here.
