Who can join? UWF membership is open to anyone holding a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
How much are dues? Membership is $35
Where do the dues go? UWF is a self-governing volunteer organization. Our membership dues and the monies we earn in fundraising projects support the basic administrative cost, local causes which include scholarships for women and girls pursuing a baccalaureate degree, support for women’s opportunities in education, and other varied community-based projects. There are no paid administrative staff.
Basic administrative costs include accounting (banking fees), basic state and federal filings, meeting costs, monthly newsletter and website hosting.
Benefits of Membership: Members receive a monthly newsletter from September through May by email or view it on the UWF website listing the current events and meeting information.
Perhaps the greatest benefit is the opportunity to get involved with a diverse, vibrant community of women who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for women in Flagler County.
