Scholarship Recipients
Each year at our May luncheon, the UWF scholarship recipients are announced by the UWF Scholarship Committee, and the recipients make a short presentation to the membership. The number of scholarships that are awarded varies each year. As of May 2026, UWF has awarded over 130 scholarships to high school graduates totaling more than $220,250.
In 2026, UWF awarded scholarships of $3000 to six Flagler County high school graduates who are continuing their education at four-year Colleges. We are so happy to announce this year's Scholarship recipients, who were notified and awarded their scholarships on the evenings of May 6th and 7th:
In addition, in 2023, UWF endowed a scholarship at Daytona State College, which provides a mature student (22 years of age or older) with a scholarship each year in perpetuity. Non-Traditional Student Grants of between $500 and $1000 are granted to local colleges and programs to provide help for adults returning to the workforce.
