Who can join?
UWF membership is open to anyone holding a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
How much are dues?
Membership is $35 per year. The membership year runs from July 1 - June 30.
Where do the dues go?
We are a self-governing volunteer organization and our membership dues and the monies we earn in fund-raising projects support the basic administrative costs, local causes, which include scholarships for women and girls pursuing a baccalaureate degree, support for women’s opportunities in education, and other varied community-based projects. There are no paid administrative staff.
Basic administrative costs include accounting (banking fees), basic state and federal filings, meeting costs, monthly newsletter and web site hosting.
What do I get?
You receive the monthly newsletter printed September through May by email or a printed version by mail, the web site and privileges to attend membership meetings and events as a member.
Perhaps the greatest benefit is the opportunity to get involved with a diverse, vibrant community of women who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for women in Flagler County.
